A Day in the Life of a Mom-Herbalist

This daily blog has been about the struggles of juggling motherhood with being a full-time student for the first eight months of its existence.  I still share some of my life now that I've graduated but I also share information each day on herbs that I've learned along this journey.   While my herbariums are listed for free membership, I provide four fields from them in my blog: Constituents (the active ingredients of the herbs), the therapeutic actions (Examples are expectorant and stimulant), indications (colds, skin rashes, emphysema, etc), and safety information. More information can be found in the herbariums but these are the most important educational fields.  I also share scientific studies to help educate people who think there are no studies showing herbs work.

Membership to this site is free.

It is exam day.  I am NOT ready.  However, I still have 2 papers to finish and another exam to study for.  I have no more time.  The good news is this is the class I have the best grade in so maybe I can pull this off.  We'll see.  Lack of sleep these past 2 days has been horrendous on my studying.  I was up many times last night as well but I still got better sleep than the 2 previous nights.  The kids are fed. I'm trying to finish my breakfast but I think I'm just going to hang that up.  I plan to take this test as soon as my son goes down for his nap.  My daughter is extremely whiny this morning so she may be napping here soon as well...  lol  She did get some good sleep last night though.  I'm not even sure she moved though she did kick daddy out of bed again.  One of the sets of Tinkerbell dishes came for her yesterday.  I took the water bottle out and gave it to her so I can get mine washed.  The rest will be given on her birthday.  Apparently both plates are heart-shaped, I thought it was only 1.  Yeah, even the bowl is shaped like a heart.  She is going to be such a happy little girl!  LOL  My son keeps drinking from her water bottle causing drama so I guess when I get time, I need to find one in Cars.  Time to get off here and see if I can retain anything else before I I get this done.  Have a great day!

These pages are also linked on the Herbal Lists page but this is the list of things that get discussed more frequently so I added the link here.
