A Day in the Life of a Mom-Herbalist

This daily blog has been about the struggles of juggling motherhood with being a full-time student for the first eight months of its existence.  I still share some of my life now that I've graduated but I also share information each day on herbs that I've learned along this journey.   While my herbariums are listed for free membership, I provide four fields from them in my blog: Constituents (the active ingredients of the herbs), the therapeutic actions (Examples are expectorant and stimulant), indications (colds, skin rashes, emphysema, etc), and safety information. More information can be found in the herbariums but these are the most important educational fields.  I also share scientific studies to help educate people who think there are no studies showing herbs work.

Membership to this site is free.

I got a closet cleaned out yesterday and took 10 bags to the dump this morning.  The kids enjoyed going to the store twice because someone forgot to buy cat litter...  I'm sure the cats will appreciate when i get the time to get that done!  Love and Light!

On to the constituents of ashwagandha.  There is supposed to be a new herb tomorrow and I'm hoping I can get it done on time.

Cuscohygrine (Pyrrolidine Alkaloid): This is a narcotic, sedative (Ganora, 2009, p. 71).

Have a Great Day!

I'm not sure what you mean by "work product". If you are looking for formulary (instructions on how to use the herbs) that information is not in my blog. My blog informs people of what each herb is used for and how/why they work. The more detailed information is in the virtual herbariums. To gain access to those, you need to subscribe (for free) and go to the herbariums individually. I don't have formulary on everything but where to go to find them. There are instructions on making teas and such. Some of my sources have proprietary recipes so I don't want to share those. I could get hit with some kind of copy-write thing for posting it without their permission even though I do cite them.

These pages are also linked on the Herbal Lists page but this is the list of things that get discussed more frequently so I added the link here.
