One of the important things I look for is the certified non-GMO label. This means it is lab-verified to not contain anything that was grown in a lab as opposed to grown by nature which means I also look for organic. Under no circumstances is this to mean I endorse these products. When searching online, frequently they show the front of the product but the nutrient portion is not shared. I think that data is vital in choosing what we cook with.
